Brett Sugerman and Giselle Loor Sugerman first met in 2001, while working for the same South Florida design firm. Teaming up on a number of successful projects, the designer duo decided to found b+g design in 2006 based on their shared design philosophy that “interior design should be both functional and innovative. "

Taking a look at the Sugerman's Beachside residence project, it is easy to see that philosophy in action. While most would choose to select the ocean view as the focal point of the living and bedroom, the Sugermans choose to maximize the view while not compromising the interior by focusing on other aspects of the residence. The focal points are the fireplace and television, respectively, allowing the terrace to showcase the view in its entirety

A few highlights of the project include a David Weeks for Ralph Pucci light fixture and a Marilyn Minter art piece serving as the focal point of the dining room, Richard Schultz lounge chairs and matching coffee table out on the terrace, and a custom three piece sofa in the living room.

With almost 40 years of combined industry experience, these lifestyle innovators have found their niche in highend residential and executiveclass commercial projects. Through their impressive portfolio of of projects throughout the United States, b+g design has forged a loyal client base and evolved into a force to be reckoned with in the interior design industry.
