Being headquartered in Houston, we at Ligné have done our fair share of trips to New Orleans for Mardi Gras. We want to share some of our favorite spots to check out - trust us, they're not worth missing!

First stop (actually mandatory) is Pat O's for a Hurricane. This is a New Orleans staple, and their gorgeous patio makes it an no brainer! If cocktails aren't your thing, we suggest heading to The Bulldog, where you can get any beer on tap.

To be in the middle of all the action, we suggest staying at the Royal Sonesta. Located in the heart of the French Quarter, you walk out the door and you're on Bourbon.

New Orleans is well known for amazing places to eat. Our top three are Cochon, Galatoire's, and hidden treasure Jacque Imo's.

The highlight of Mardi Gras is the parades. The most popular is Endymion on Saturday evening that goes through the entire city of New Orleans. Be on the lookout for plenty of celebrities in the parade! It picks right back up on Sunday with the finale parade of Bacchus.
